About Us

Hi, I’m Nmachi Onyewuchi, a content creator, photographer, and most importantly, a mum. Kafos was born from a very personal place — my love for dressing my kids in beautiful African prints and wanting them to feel deeply connected to their roots.

In the early years of motherhood, I found myself searching for ways to truly connect with my children. I knew those first few years were precious — the foundation of closeness, bonding, and memories. At the same time, I wanted to include them in what I love: creating content, capturing beauty, and telling stories through visuals.

That’s when the idea came — to create an African print fashion brand that brought all of that together. A way to share my passion with my children, while also helping them — and others — embrace African culture through something as joyful and expressive as fashion.

Everything at Kafos is proudly made in Nigeria — from the fabrics to the tailoring. We work with incredible local artisans who pour their talent and tradition into every piece. For me, it’s so important that this brand supports our community and celebrates our culture in the most authentic way.

Kafos is more than just clothes — it’s love, legacy, and culture woven into every stitch. It’s for the mums like me, who want their kids to grow up proud of who they are and where they come from.
